For more than 20 years, Furius has been using his passion for art to excel in the hair and fashion industry. Working under some of the top stylists in Edmonton and Vancouver early in his career, he took the skills he learned from them and developed his own personal style designing hair and fashion that expresses the personality of the person wearing it.
Furious is certified in the Brazilian Blowout straightening system and continues to educate himself with the newest technology in hair fashion while attending the yearly hair expos in the U.S.
Furius has worked for many fashion and state shows throughout his career and continues to follow all of the latest fashion trends. Furious studied at Marvel College in Edmonton and in 1994 won the North American Hair Stylist of the Year (student category) In 1995 he was placed 8th in the Canada-wide Contest awards.
Ciara brings more than nine years of experience to The Salon Cayman, in addition to her formal training at Belfast MET Cosmopolitan. Ciara moved to the Cayman Islands in 2008, brining her skills and knowledge of the fashion industry with her.
Ciara has a national vocational qualification in hair and beauty therapy, various certificates in cutting and coloring from Paul Mitchell, two certificates in Global Keratin and a diploma in make-up artistry. Ciara is also the only certified Deva Curl expert in Cayman!
Steven has more than 7 years experience in the beauty industry.
He trained in Canada and completed numerous courses in addition to his front line experience. Steven specializes in dry haircutting, and is a curly girl ambassador with years of experience working with afro and natural textures.
With extensive knowledge in styling, corrective color, extensions Steven brands himself as a hair rejuvination specialist with years of training in restorative and hair repair treatments. Steven is also a trained makeup artist with experience working with airbrush makeup as well as traditional, for bridal, fashion, special fx, and theatre and film.
Steven has had editorial and fashion work published in various magazines in Canada and worldwide such as Vogue Italia and Glamfreak magazine. He has numerous fashion shows under his belt and has entered competitions showcasing his work on the runway.
When he is not creating in the salon Steven dabbles in photography, cooking, and has passion for art.
Sarah has over 10 years of experience behind the chair. She was trained in her hometown in the south of Germany. After 6 years Sarah moved to Stuttgart (Germany) where she went on a "hairdressing master" course to reach the highest level you can go in her profession. Sarah also worked in the Maldives in a Spa Resort arriving in the Cayman Islands in 2014.
Sarah specializes in hair extensions, hair colors (especially blondes) color corrections, make-up and is certified in EasiHair extensions.
Sarah loves watersports (diving, windsurfing...)
