Please see below general guidelines for shipping from Cayman.
To start the shipping process, we will need you or your agent to complete the dock receipt form below so booking can be made.
The next steps are:
Cayman Customs approval required for container to be loaded at your premises
Please note that Cayman Customs approval is required to allow you to get the container dropped for loading at your premises.
The contact at Customs you should contact for approval is:
Tara Bodden
Senior Customs Officer
Tel: (345) 949-4579
Email: [email protected]
Once Customs approval is given, Customs will advise Seaboard Marine that we can release a container to the trucking company of your choice who will pick up the container from the Port Authority and drop to your premises.
Please ensure that the goods are properly blocked and braced in the container when loaded, to avoid shifting during the voyage and damage to your goods.

To ship a vehicle from Cayman the following will be necessary:
Cancel the license and registration of the vehicle
Customs clearance at destination
You or the consignee will be responsible to clear the shipment through the relevant local Customs authority upon its arrival at destination.
You or the consignee will be responsible for all destination charges.
SHIPMENTS TO THE U.S.A.
Importer Security Filing (ISF)
The shipper (that is you) will be required to file an ISF with US Customs prior to shipping. We can recommend a customs broker file the ISF on your behalf.
US Customs Inspection Possible
It is important to note that US Customs may pull the shipment for inspection upon arrival in the US. They will then levy a fee for this inspection. They will advise what the fee is after inspection.
