Nadia Dipchand is originally from Toronto, Canada and has been actively involved in the esthetic industry for about 11 years. Starting out as a makeup consultant and working her way up to the assistant manager position at Caryl Baker Visage for 3 years, during which she completed her training. She then went on to becoming a faculty coordinator and teaching makeup classes at the Canadian Aesthetic Academy in Toronto.
Nadia also has certificates for permenent makeup from the well known Lisa Lam from BioTouch Canada, permanent makeup specialist. Since moving to Cayman Islands in January 2008 she has worked at Posh Spa Lounge. She is knowledgable and passionate in all areas related to skin and performs facials, peels, makeup, and waxing. Nadia has been dedicated to ensuring that local Caymanians and tourists from all over receive quality treatments for the best prices on the island!
Karin Gonsalves is originally from Goa, India and has been in the beauty and Hair Designing industry for approximately 15 years. She attended Ann''''''''s School of Beauty where she received her degree in beauty and hair design. She continued to work in the same school for a period of 3 years where she gained the experience and more hands on in the industry. Karin went on to working at Neomi''''''''s Beauty Salon located in Goa for 4 years where she perfected her skills. Karin is well known for her gentle threading and waxing, facials, body treatments, body and head massages.
Karin moved to the Cayman Islands in 2007 and worked at Shirell''''''''s Beauty Salon & Spa for 3 years, and now since January 2011, she has become a wonderful member of the Posh Spa Lounge team.
Shelbi Malcolm is originally from Jamaica where she attended Spa Aesthetique in 2004 gaining her certification for Beauty Therapist and Hair Styling. From there Shelbi went on to working for Sassy''''''''s beauty salon in Jamaica, where she gained the experience and confidence in the industry over the following 7 years.
From there she moved to Cayman Islands to join the Posh Spa Lounge team!
Shelbi not only does manicures, pedicures, nail design, acrylic and gel nails...she also does eyelash extensions and makeup! Her true passion is anything to do with nails and to see her clients happy and pleased with her service.
Rosa Fernandes is originally from Goa, India where she completed her course at Roma''''''''s Inn for Hair Dressing and Beauty in 1996, she continued there for 2 years to gain working experience in the industry. From there, she went on to the Donna Alcina Condilime hotel in Jenny''''''''s Spa for 5 years. Following there Rosa spent her last 2 years at Silent Retreat at Calangute where she perfected her skills.
Rosa has been an employee at Posh Spa Lounge since she moved to the Cayman Islands in 2005, she does waxing, threading, body massage, facials, and pedicures. She enjoys satisfying her growing clientelle and trys to make their experience her enjoyable.
Pooja Maharjan is originally from Nepal where she started her training in esthetics in 1998 at Dollys Beauty Academy. She then went on to Beauty Line Academy in 1999 for one year where she continued training and gained some hands on experience. Following that she studied for 3 months at Beauty N Hair Institute where she continued to gain work experience.
From 2002 until 2005 Pooja worked at Tranquility Spa where she found her passion to do all different kinds of massage. From there she worked to further her experience and knowledge for the next few years at Habtoor Grand Resort & Spa and House of Zen Slimming & Beauty until she decided to make a move to the Cayman Islands where she started working at Spa ''''''''de'''''''' Soul International and now she is the newest member of the Posh Spa Lounge team!
