KY Imaging offers the highest quality of diagnostic care in a private imaging centre. All of our radiologists are U.S.A. trained and board certified. Our ten-member group operates seven outpatient facilities and two hospital radiology departments in the United States.
The staff at KY Imaging is friendly, knowledgeable and understanding. Our technologists are experienced and certified in the USA. Staff members will assist your patients through every step of the exam and address any questions or concerns they may have.
Physicians have direct access to images and patient reports on our PACS utilizing their own computer from any location. Our PACS system is HIPAA compliant in the USA. A user name and password is assigned to ensure that the referring physician only has access to his or her patient's records. This feature helps us to better serve the medical community when consultation is required with the radiologist.
Services we provide:
Open MRI & MRA: Our Hitachi Airis II Open MRI provides patient comfort with state of the art technology and software providing quality images. The Open design MRI allows us to accommodate claustrophobic and large patients, and is useful for imaging paediatric patients by enabling them to be with their parents during the exam. MRI is the modality of choice for diagnosing diseases of the central nervous system as well as for diagnosing many neurological and orthopaedic abnormalities. It is also used to detect certain cancers in the brain, neck, abdomen and pelvis.
MRA is capable of demonstrating with a high degree of clarity and accuracy the major vessels as well as the smaller, more peripheral branches and is useful in evaluating aneurysms and arterio-venous malformations.
Bone Density: Utilizing the Hologic Discovery CI Bone Density Machine, state of the art for diagnosing osteoporosis, measurements of the hip and lumbar spine are taken to evaluate the amount of calcium in a patient's bone.
We have a spacious and fast 16-slice Phillips MX8000 IDT unit which performs a large range of general CT procedures including CT angiography. KY Imaging also provides general Xray complete with a CD of images to take with you!
