The WaterColours has announced today that they have chosen to partner exclusively with International Design Group Limited (IDG), for their upcoming luxury development on Seven Mile Beach.
This collaboration marks the second time that high end developer, Mr. Wellon, and IDG have partnered. IDG has also worked closely with Mr.Wellon on Cayman’s prestigious Water’s Edge development, having designed and furnished all common areas, as well as many residences. In order to recognize the contributions of IDG towards the success of Water’s Edge, Mrs. Lund, Executive Director of IDG recently received a partnership award from Mr. Wellon in honour of their dedication, commitment and efforts.
IDG will again have full design, source and supply, over the common areas of WaterColours, including; the beachfront owners’ conservatory, patio, boardroom, manager and security offices, as well as four owners guest suites that will be provided to residents for their staff and visitors.
The WaterColours will immediately include IDG in every aspect of planning in order to maximize the design and space elements right down to electrical layout, lighting and common area finishes. “It is critical to include IDG as part of the development team from the onset of our project. We will be highly engaged even before breaking ground later this year. We are very pleased to continue our exceptional working relationship with IDG’s phenomenal team. Their service and luxury furnishing lines are unmatched on the Island. We not only want to create a beautiful space, but one that provides function for our residents”, said Mr.Wellon.
As far as IDG is concerned the feelings are mutual. Mrs.Lund, and her team of talented designers are up to the challenge. “Mr. Wellon understands the need to include our designers as an intricate part of the development team. Elements of design can span a spectrum of creative and technical expertise. We are committed and eager to contribute to the beauty and functionality of the WaterColours, from conception to completion.”
The highly anticipated WaterColours will break ground in the fall of this year, on the current Beach Club Colony site, and will consist of 39 luxury residences available in three- and four-bedroom floor plans. Fraser Wellon’s projects are well known in Cayman, and the Caribbean, for their exclusivity, attention to detail and high quality.
