Dr. Ali is currently an active experienced orthopaedic surgeon specializing in hip and knee joint replacement surgery, and has clinical and surgical experience in the Cayman Islands for over 20 years.
He has university appointments in the Department of Surgery at McMaster University and the University of Toronto. He is past Division Head of Orthopaedic Surgery, Scarborough Health Network, consultant to Depuy Synthes Corp and Biomet Inc, and Physician Champion for Hip and Knee Replacement at the Central East Local Health Integrated Network in Ontario covering a population of over 1.6 million people.
Thus far he has completed over 6000 total joint replacements and counting.
