The lessons and disciplines taught at CPDS are meant not only to create excellence in the arts but may also be applied to the daily lives of its students. Yearly evaluations/assessments are taken with International Dance Acclaim & London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art.
Children’s classes at CPDS include the syllabus and examination work of:
International Dance Acclaim (IDA) "Achievement through Performance" provides a curriculum for ballet/tap schools with customized choreography and music, offering opportunities for achievement through performance and culminating in an exciting performance assessed by an experienced IDA adjudicator.
International Dance Teachers Association (IDTA) has 7000 members in over 55 countries; the IDTA defines standards across the widest variety of dance forms and promotes the love of dance across a dynamic, global community.
Melody Movement Early Learning a unique early years dance curriculum, which addresses the needs of children, aged 18 months upwards. It is tailored to discovering and fulfilling the potential of each child, whilst nurturing their creative development.
London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) via an extensive examinations program LAMDA empowers and inspires individuals across the globe; LAMDA provides students with a means to improve communication skills, increase self-confidence and develop strong social skills, regardless of their experience or ability.
Wiggle Giggle Dance With Us! A bespoke pre-school dance/performing arts program designed by the CP Team for children 3-5yrs+.

Centre Pointe Dance Studio (CPDS) was founded in 2010 with the aim of providing quality dance and performing arts instruction in the Cayman Islands. Classes at CPDS are diverse, tasteful, and fun; we aim to instill life skills such as treating yourself and others with respect, how to be part of a team, and the importance of community service. The staff at CPDS aim to inspire and shape students to be better artists and people both inside and outside of the studio.
