Established in 1974, Cayman Insurance Centre Limited (CIC) is one of Cayman’s great success stories. CIC was established over 36 years ago with just two members of staff; A. Spencer Marshall and Maureen Whittle. The founding members were A. Spencer Marshall, Arthur Hunter, Alfred Kaufman (dec’d), William McTaggart Snr. (Uncle Bill), and Graham Thompson.
Cayman Insurance Centre is a ‘one-stop’ insurance brokerage house for Cayman’s insurance needs offering all lines of insurance from Group Health and individual life, to general insurances for businesses; homes; stratas; liability coverages and professional indemnity. In 2007 The Insurance Company of the West Indies (Cayman) Limited (ICWI) became the majority shareholder of Cayman Insurance Centre.

CIC currently represents AM Best, and S&P rated carriers such as Americo Life, Generali Worldwide, Occidental Life Insurance Company of North Carolina, Colina Insurance Limited as well as Brokers to well-known local general insurance carriers such as The Insurance Company of the West Indies Limited, Island Heritage, British Caymanian, Lloyd’s of London and Cayman First. Our top award winning Life Insurance Agents are Tony Mosley, Karim Awe and Michael Webster. Representing Americo’s Life Insurance suite of products, they have consistently won annual awards for placing in the 10 ten agents out of approximately 15,000 independent agents in the U.S.; Puerto Rico; and US Virgin Islands. Tony Mosley has been awarded the Top Agent Award for the last 5 years. Cayman Insurance Centre currently writes business through a network of agents on all three islands, Grand Cayman, Cayman Brac and Little Cayman.
